~35~ Add VALUE

Add VALUE - the key to doing MORE with LESS. It make a different in personal and business success. I have been thinking through about ADD VALUE all this while ever since my involvement in biz. I brought the topic up again during my discussion with Reza few days back. He suggested me to think about, what I have added value in the past and what I can add value now. Just only this, perturbation has been going on.
The PAST
I recalled my autograph during my secondary graduation on what friends shared about me. I found something in common that they shared about me is they love my cheerfulness, spontaneous and my home make food that I had shared with them. I made this available to my close friend and family members.
NOW
What I have created in my blog is to add value to others on life transformation "tool box", something that have made a better me. I am thinking of something that could make a better YOU, after reading my blog.
One of the possibilities that I could think of is providing a platform in blogger for Personal Development Programs Reviews; be it seminars, CDs, VCDs, DVDs, books etc... that a person has gone through and be able to share his satisfaction level rating from 1 STAR to 5 STAR.
The Rule Of Reviews
  • Sharing with INTEGRITY, ones must have ate the Assam Laksa before sharing the taste of it.
  • WIN/WIN for everyone, create an intention for growth to all parties.
  • Create empowerment from RESPONSIBILITY rather than Justifying, Blaming or Denying.
  • Satisfaction level rating from minimum 1 STAR to 5 STAR.
  • Evaluation of satisfaction from all aspects including
  1. Instructor's experience whether he has earned the RIGHT to share
  2. Methodology, what method of sharing has been used? Forum, Games simulations, etc...
  3. Ethic of conduct
  4. Perceived Value vs Receive Value (Me as a participant)
  5. Level of interaction
  6. Level of learning, understanding and awareness (what I could remember until NOW)
  7. Program Content vs Title of the program
  8. Learning Objective vs Outcome
  9. Logistic support
  10. Continuous learning platform for growth, such as follow up series, lifetime reviews
  11. Platform for networking
  12. Level of transformation (I have learned from the program, take actions and make changes in my life)

I'm looking into MORE, your comments is welcome.

~33~ REZA Ali -The RIGHT Eye

Last week, I was having conversation with Reza over the phone, he invited me to write him a testimonials. I took few days to construct a passage however, I find it not easy to post it to him. I feel like thinking too much. Today, I asked myself on what I feel like saying about Reza...and here is my mail to him couple of minuets ago.

Hi, Reza,

Thanks for everything and every moment from you to me...

When I think of writing some words about you in your testimonials, some key words appeared, what I feel about Reza is knowledgeable, willingness to share/to give & receive, support life transformation, commit to excellent, "HARD" to himself, arrogant. When I construct them into sentences,

Reza is a very supportive person in my life transformation. I knew him through my Money and You seminar in 2005. He was an instructor in my Business School in 2007. He inspires me by his sharing of his life transformation and by his commitment to excellence in every area his chooses to participate. He easily hints me with examples which he draws from his experiences and he encourages me to seek my own answers by asking me the right questions. He never teaches or shares anything that he has not himself gone through or has not earned the right to say. I feel that he is "hard" on himself too, because of wanting the best of the best. For me, I just love the perturbations and break through so much, he cares with love. I grow with joy. ~ By Prisca Ooi

Done. Thank you for inviting me to your life, Reza - The RIGHT eye.

~32~ Legendary St. PRISCA

LEGEND of St. Prisca, an amazing story. I chose this name during my baptism without knowing much about St. Prisca, in fact, there are very little to read about her during my search of having a Christian name. However, I chose it, I am attracted to this name instantly while viewing through the name listing of Saint.

  • Prisca was of a noble family and at thirteen years of age was accused of Christianity before Emperor Claudius. By his command she was taken to the temple of Apollo to sacrifice there, and when she refused, was buffeted and sent to prison. She was released from prison, but when she still held steadfastly to the faith, they flogged her, poured boiling tallow(oil) upon her, and sent her back a second time. She was at last thrown to a lion in the amphitheater, but it quietly lay down at her feet. She was starved for three days in a slaves' prison house, and then tortured upon the rack. Pieces of flesh were next torn from her body with iron hooks, and she was thrown on a burning pile. She marvelously still remained alive, and was accordingly beheaded outside the city. Saint Prisca lived and died two hundred and seventy years after Christ's birth.
  • St. Prisca day fall on 18th January every year.

~31~ Friends On INTERVIEW

Recently, my friends were interviewed by local media. Annie, Saba and Wendy on HER WORLD magazine, February 2008 edition. Heiko and Selina on NTV 7, live breakfast show on 27th March 2008, 8.45am. I was so excited to fetch them to the studio in that early morning. Watched them live on the stage interviewed by Hanson. It was so amazing. I see myself on the stage as a host. Hahahaha...I'm so glad and happy with friends that I have , they are GREAT.

~30~ HOME

Mum called me last week, telling that our home is going to dismantle soon latest by May. It is no longer a surprise for me because the agreement has been signed ever since 2004. I feel sad and excited.

  • I feel sad, because of my attachment on the house. I grew up here since born. It was my grandma's house located at Perak Lane, Penang. Perak Lane is a "BLACK" area during 1970's, it was a happening area for illegal trading, gangsters, and fights is normal during 70's. In 80's, during my childhood, I knew there were people selling and consuming drugs at my neighbourhood. Under ground gambling, prostitution and extortion were common scenes. My primary school - SRJK (C) Moh Ghee is right opposite my house. I went to school by crossing a street. I could still remember that my Grandma used to lock the gate with big padlock, follow by another grill with another padlock. Home is a prison for me that point of time, I was not allowed to play outside the gate, the environment was not save for me, no friends no freedom. This was a programing in my past.
  • Now the house is going to dismantle, mum and my brother is going to move to our new house soon. Excitement and joy come along during our preparations on moving to new house. Argument and disagreement between three of us, all together as a package. Lots of resolutions and agreement between three of us. Woooshss...
  • I will be going HOME again and again until everything settle down, and Mum, I just want you to be happy :) xoxo
